If your organization has been previously verified to collect donations on GiveGab, you may need to provide additional information about your organization representative in order to remain in good standing.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Admin Dashboard

Click next to "Viewing Dashboard For" in the middle and very bottom of the page to toggle between Dashboards. Then select the organization name of the profile you're looking to access at this time from the options.

Step 2: Navigate to your Bank Account & Verification section

To determine what additional information is required to maintain your ability to fundraise on GiveGab, click the "Manage Organization" tab to expand the options and select “Bank Account & Verification."

Step 3: Review and Update the Required Information

Click the blue button labeled "Update Required Information" to access your organization’s information via a secure form hosted by Stripe. Through this form is how you will view and update the required information.

Since we are an online platform that collects, processes, and distributes money in the form of donations from supporters to organizations, we fall under certain regulations that we are required to abide by in order to remain compliant. In particular, for US-based organizations, we abide by compliance laws that are part of Know Your Customer, the Customer Due Diligence Rule, and the Patriot Act.

In short, we need to verify that the individual who is representing the organization collecting donations (i.e. the signer) is who they say they are and is authorized to do so. This is in addition to verifying that they are representing a legitimately registered corporation.

Collecting this information helps us streamline donation processing and payouts with our underlying payment processor (Stripe) and the financial institutions that they work with.

Additionally, and most importantly, we have a duty to our users that when they choose to support a cause with a monetary gift, that money is going where they expect it to go!

If you have questions or concerns about this process please contact our customer support team via the blue chat bubble or payments@bonterratech.com.
