Step 1: Navigate to your Giving Day Dashboard

From the “Home” tab of your Admin Dashboard on www.givegab.com, click on the name of your Giving Day from the Giving Day banner highlighted below.

Step 2: Expand the "Add Fundraisers" Section

From the Giving Day dashboard, click "Add Fundraisers" to expand the options.

Step 3: Setting a Story and a Goal (optional)

If you want your P2P fundraisers to have a uniform default story and/or goal, you'll want to set this before uploading them. You can change this information under the "Set Fundraiser Story" and "Set Fundraiser Goal" fields. This does not retroactively change any fundraisers' information, so it is very important that this is updated first if you plan on importing a large number of fundraisers.

After updating this, click "Save".

Step 4: Upload a CSV of Your Fundraisers

After you've set your story and goal for all of the new fundraisers, select "Upload Fundraisers" to open the new menu.

When you add fundraisers, you'll need to send them an invitation email first. Selecting "Upload Fundraisers" will give you a prompt for this. Following the steps in the image below on this prompt will help you create this email and then import the fundraisers.

The CSV that you upload must be formatted in a very specific way. There can only be four (4) columns at max with information, and the columns must contain the first name, last name, fundraiser display names (optional) and email addresses of your P2P fundraiser in that order. The only field that can have a blank space is the "fundraiser display name" column. However, you cannot have a first name without a last name, or a full name without an email, or an email without a name. An example of this is below.

Once you've selected "Import", you're all set! All of your imported fundraisers will receive the invitation email that you had just typed out. If they have never logged into GiveGab before, this invitation email will automatically include login information for them to use. If they have logged into GiveGab in the past, it will prompt them to log in again.
