How do I fiscally sponsor an organization through my Giving Day Dashboard?

As a fiscal sponsor, your organization accepts donations on behalf of another organization using your tax-deductible EIN and bank account. Donors will receive a receipt with your organization's EIN and may be able to claim tax deductions (donors should always consult a tax professional to determine what portion of the donation, if any, may be claimed as a charitable deduction).

Your GiveGab Project Manager will need to enable this feature. This must be done manually each year and will override the sponsored organization's bank information for the Giving Day.

Once enabled, navigate to your Partner Dashboard. Click the arrow next to 'Manage Organizations' in the left navigation panel and select 'View Organizations' from the dropdown.

Next, locate the 'Fiscally Sponsored' column.

Use the dropdown in the 'Fiscally Sponsored' column to select 'Yes' for any organization you wish to sponsor. Donations to those organizations will be routed to your account during the Giving Day.

GiveGab does not require this documentation since you can apply fiscal sponsorship on your own, but you may submit a sponsorship letter using this template:
