To fundraise on GiveGab, your organization must be eligible to receive tax-deductible donations. If your organization hasn’t yet received tax-deductible status, partnering with a fiscal sponsor is a great way to get started. Learn more about fiscal sponsorship and available services here.

You can also read about other fundraising requirements here.

A fiscal sponsor is an organization with tax-deductible status that agrees to support your fundraising efforts. On GiveGab, they play an essential role by submitting:

  • their tax-deductible EIN

  • a representative to act on behalf of the sponsored organization

  • bank account information for receiving donations

When a donor gives to your organization, the donation receipt will include your fiscal sponsor’s tax-deductible EIN.

Note: Donors should consult a tax professional to determine whether their donation qualifies as a charitable deduction.

The sponsored organization (you) creates a profile on GiveGab.

Step 2: Invite a representative from your fiscal sponsor's organization

Invite a representative from your fiscal sponsor’s organization to become an administrator on your account. This allows them to enter verification information, connect a bank account, and access donation reports.

Step 3: Have the representative enter their organization's details

Step 4: Start Fundraising!

Once your fiscal sponsor’s information is verified, your organization can begin fundraising on GiveGab!
