GiveGab supports two different types of administrator access on organization profiles. One being "Full Admin Access" and the other being "Giving Day Profile Editing". An admin that has full administrator access is denoted by the blue key next to their name, while an administrator that has Giving Day profile editing access has a blue clipboard next to their name.
What can an administrator that has full access do?
An administrator that has full access to your profile can do anything! They can manage supporters and other administrators, reconcile donation reports, edit Giving Day profiles, change how donations are displayed, and create campaigns and events.
An administrator for an organization is a powerful responsibility that should only be given out to individuals that you trust within your organization, as they will have full access to everything about your organization on GiveGab.
Administrators with full access will also be able to view the entire Admin Dashboard, as seen below:
What can an administrator that only has Giving Day profile editing access do?
An administrator that has Giving Day profile editing access will only be able to view the Giving Day profiles for the organization. This is the perfect type of access for someone who is working on your Giving Day campaign, but who should not have access to sensitive information such as donor data or verification information. For instance, this access would be a great fit for an intern or a student employee.
When they first log into GiveGab, they will first see their user profile, which contains the organization, and then the Giving Day profiles for the organization:
When they navigate to manage the Giving Day Dashboard, they'll see everything that a normal administrator would, but won't have access to the left navigational sidebar.
