The individual completing the organization representative fields to become verified to receive donations should be an executive-level employee at your organization. In other words, this individual should be highly engaged with your organization for the foreseeable future, have signing powers, and oversight to your organization’s financial activities.

The organization representative must provide the following information about themselves:

  • Their full name as it appears on their social security card

  • The last four digits of their SSN

    • If the organization representative cannot be verified with the last 4 digits of their SSN, the full SSN or a government-issued identification document (such as a driver’s license or passport) will need to be supplied.

  • Their birth date

  • A full mailing address

    • Due to KYC (Know Your Customer) obligations, PO boxes are not an approved address type.

  • Phone number

  • Email address

All of these pieces of information are necessary in order to verify their identity in association with your organization and to enable the ability to accept donations on GiveGab.

Note: Organization representatives will be redirected to a secure Stripe portal to enter the above information. Stripe is the payment processor behind GG Pay and is a PCI Level 1 Compliant processor. More information on what happens to this information once it is entered can be found here. Information and resources on why this information is required can be found here.
