Please Note: Sponsors should provide the funds for their Match or Challenge offline, prior to the Giving Day. If a Sponsor gives online to your organization in order to provide you with their funds for the Match or Challenge, this will inflate your totals & they will not be accurate.
โ
For this reason, it is best to secure these funds prior to the day & outside of the platform.
Step 1: Navigate to Your Admin Dashboard
If your home page is not your Admin Dashboard, click on the drop-down box at the bottom of the page to the right of 'Viewing Dashboard For' to view a list of organizations that you are an administrator for. Click on the name of the organization you would like to access.
Step 2: Navigate to Your Giving Day Dashboard
From your Admin Dashboard's 'Home' page, click on the banner for the Giving Day you would like to access, listed under the 'Giving Days' section.
Step 3: Manage Your Sponsored Matching & Challenges
From your Giving Day Dashboard, scroll down & click on 'Manage Sponsor Matching' under the 'Donation Tools' section.
Step 4: Deplete Your Match or Challenge
Step 4a: Depleting a Match
From this page, click the 'Deplete Match' button on the Match you would like to deplete.
Once you click this button, you will see a pop-up asking you to confirm that you would like to have all remaining funds applied as an offline donation. Click 'OK' & the matching funds will be depleted & no longer active on your Giving Day.
Step 4b: Marking a Challenge as Complete
If you would like to "deplete" a match before it has technically been completed, click "Edit" on the challenge. You can force your challenge to trigger by adjusting the Challenge Goal to one that has already been met. For example, if the original challenge was to raise $500 but you would like to "complete" it after only raising $360, you could change the Challenge Goal to $350 in order to trigger the Challenge to complete and release the funds associated to your organization.
You may also choose to Archive your Challenge to mark it as Inactive and prevent it from appearing in future fundraising.
