Step 1: Navigate to your Admin Dashboard

If your home page is not your Admin Dashboard, click on the drop down box at the bottom of the screen next to “Viewing Dashboard For” to view a list of organizations that you are an administrator for. Click on the name of your organization you’d like to access.

Step 2: Navigate to your Giving Day Dashboard

From your Admin Dashboard's "Home" page, use the Giving Days banner to select the Giving Day Dashboard that you'd like to view.

Step 3: Manage Your Sponsored Matching & Challenges

From your Giving Day Dashboard, click "Manage Sponsor Matching" at the bottom of the page under Donation Tools.

Step 4: Add a Challenge

Click the "Add Challenge" button to begin customizing the details of your donor or dollar challenge.

Step 5: Enter Your Challenge Details

From this form, you can customize the details of your challenge and how it will appear on your Giving Day profile. Challenges are a great way to motivate your donors to help you unlock special incentives through their participation!

a. Add your sponsor's name

Add the name of your challenge sponsor, whether it's an individual, nonprofit, or business.

b. Add a link to your sponsor's website

If your challenge sponsor is an organization or business, consider including a link to their website. Promoting your sponsor is a great way to say thank you for their generous contribution!

c. Add your sponsor's logo

To add visual emphasis to your challenge, add an image of your sponsor's logo.

d. Adjust sponsor anonymity settings

If your sponsor would prefer to remain anonymous, click the box next to "Keep Sponsor Anonymous" so the prior details provided will be hidden from public view. Make sure you still enter your sponsor's name on this form for your own internal reporting of challenge funds.

e. Create your challenge name

Add a name to your challenge to quickly help donors identify how they can help you reach your goal. For example, a nonprofit founded in 1951 may use a "'51 Donors Challenge," where reaching that special number of donors "unlocks" additional funds.

f. Add a description of your challenge

Provide more details about your challenge to potential donors, perhaps including the significance of the challenge amount or goal.

g. Choose your challenge type

GiveGab supports two different types of challenges. The first is a Dollar Challenge where the goal is a dollar amount. Secondly, you could use a Donor Challenge where the goal is, instead, a number of donors.

h. Add your challenge goal

Add the condition for which the challenge will be completed, whether it's a dollar amount you hope to reach or a number of donors. Enter only a number amount in this box.

i. Add your challenge amount

The challenge amount is the money that your sponsor has pledged to donate if your challenge is met.

j. Add your challenge start and end times

Choose a start and end time for when the challenge will be active. Challenge times are listed in Eastern Time, so be sure to convert your local time so that the challenges trigger at the proper time.

k. Archive your challenge (optional)

If, later on, you would like your challenge to be marked as inactive, select the checkbox here. This will prevent it from being displayed in future fundraising.

Step 6: Click "Save"

Once you've customized the details of your challenge click the "Save" button and your challenge will active and ready to motivate your Giving Day Donors!
