Feature Overview: Prizes

The 'Prizes' feature is a strategic engagement tool used to encourage participation and reward standout performance. By offering time-based or achievement-based incentives, prizes encourage friendly competition among participating organizations and motivate donors to act - especially during key moments of the event.

Prizes are customizable and can be monetary awards or goods/services, designed to reward specific achievements such as:

  • Most Dollars Raised

  • Most Unique Donors

Other ways prizes can be awarded:

  • Random Drawings

  • Manual Selection

Prizes can be scheduled for specific timeframes (e.g., "Power Hours") and are prominently displayed on the Giving Day site, providing visibility and recognition to top-performing participants.

Feature Availability

Only Giving Day hosts can set up and manage 'Prizes' through the Partner Dashboard. Participating organizations can view available prizes and strategize their fundraising efforts accordingly, but cannot create or modify prizes themselves.
