How do I collect registration fees with Registration Types?

Learn how to set up Registration Types within the Registration Setup Tab of your Partner Dashboard

Note: This article is written for Giving Day hosts. If you are a participant or supporter of a Giving Day, this article may not pertain to your efforts.

Step 1: Navigate to your Partner Dashboard

Log in to www.givegab.com and navigate to your Partner Dashboard by clicking on your Giving Day.

Step 2: Select the Registration Setup tab

Locate and select the "Manage Organizations" dropdown on the sidebar. Then, select the "Registration Setup" page.

Step 3: Add a Registration Type

Navigate to the "Registration Types" section of the "Registration Setup" page. Here you can provide options to allow registrants to identify themselves, and enforce tiered pricing based on this identification. For example, by naming registration types based on the number of employees at a nonprofit, you can charge smaller nonprofits a smaller registration fee.

Select the blue "Add Registration Type" button to create a registration type.

Step 4: Enter Registration Type details

Add Registration Type details such as Name, Cost, and Maximum Registrants. Note that cost and maximum registrants are optional.

Once complete, click "Save."

Step 5: Repeat the process to add additional Registration Types

Once you've saved your initial Registration Type, you can add additional Registration types by repeating steps 3 and 4.
