How do I create a new Custom Page for my Giving day site?

Learn how to create a new Custom Page through your Partner Dashboard

Note: This article is written for Giving Day hosts. If you are a participant or supporter of a Giving Day, this article may not pertain to your efforts.

Step 1: Navigate to your Partner Dashboard

You can easily access your Partner Dashboard through your Personal Dashboard. Once logged into GiveGab, select the Partner Dashboard you want to manage.

Step 2: Click on the "Custom Pages" tab

"Custom Pages" is located on the sidebar under the "Content & Design" dropdown.

Step 3: Click "Create New Page" button

Above the list of existing pages, you'll notice the "Create New Page" button on the left-hand side of your screen.

Step 4: Choose a name for your new page and URL

The page name will appear in the drop-down menu or footer of your site and will be listed alphabetically based on its name. The initial “https://[giving-site-name]/info/” cannot be changed. The URL you create will appear at the end of the link and should be comprised of lower-case letters, numbers, and dashes (-) only.

Step 5: Choose where you want the page to appear by checking the box marked “Show in Menu” or “Show in Footer”

If you don’t want the page visible on the site's menu or footer, you can leave both boxes unchecked. In this case, the page would still be accessible through its direct link. This can be used if you want to “nest” the page within an existing page.

Step 6: Enter your custom content and "Save"

Using the WYSIWYG editor, customize your page contents. At the bottom of your screen, click the blue "Save" button to save all changes.
