This article will walk you through how a Donor Advised Fund gift appears on your dashboard, what you can do with the information to verify and manage the funds internally, as well as how you can use the platform to manage the current 'status' of the funds.

Step 1: Navigate to your Partner Dashboard

Log in to www.givegab.com and navigate to your Partner Dashboard by clicking on your Giving Day.

Step 2: Navigate to the Donations tab

Once on your Partner Dashboard, select the "Payments, Donations, & Fees" tab. Here you will be able to enter your copy that will populate the donation form for DAF holders.

Step 3: Enter Copy for DAF donation form

Scroll down to the "Donor Advised Fund Donation Copy" section to enter three sections of copy. These are the most basic elements of DAF that must be in place for donations to open properly.

  1. Thank You Message: This is a personal thank you message catered to your Donor Advised Fund donors for making a DAF designation. This will appear on a donor's confirmation screen upon completion and on the receipt for their designation.

  2. Disclaimer: Enter a unique disclaimer for your foundation(s) regarding designations made via DAF that should be included in the donation form and receipt.

  3. Foundations for funds to be held at (can enter multiple): Enter the name of your foundation. If you are accepting designations across multiple foundations or funds, please enter those separated by commas. These will appear in the donation form as a dropdown selection for the donor.

Be sure to click "Save" upon completion!

Step 4: Create your VIP Landing Page for your fund holders (Optional)

On the same "Donations, Payments, & Fees" page, you can customize a "VIP" landing page for donors to access the donation form. This will allow you to cater to your DAF donors in a unique way, and provide helpful information for completing their DAF designation via #iGiveCatholic. Select "Manage VIP Giving" to begin.

From there, you will see the following sections of copy. Be sure to click "Save" when you're done, and preview your work by selecting the "View VIP" button.

  1. Heading: How you will greet your donors

  2. Sub-Heading: A short sentence summarizing what you'd like them to do, or why you're sharing this page with them.

  3. Left Column: This is where you can share more pertinent information about the "VIP" DAF experience. What steps do they need to take? What are your minimum donation requirements? What is your verification process for designations? Be sure to express your gratitude and excitement about their participation, as well.

  4. Right Column: This is best reserved for contact information. If a DAF holder is having an issue or wants to talk to someone about their account, who is best to connect with on your team?

Step 5: Enable VIP Giving Form

Once you have finished customizing your VIP giving form, click the gray button labeled "Enable". This will set the form live, allowing donors to access the link and make their DAF designations.

The URL for this landing page will be your #iGiveCatholic URL with the addition of "/vip" at the end. For example: neworleans.igivecatholic.org/vip

Note: This page is publicly available immediately upon being enabled. Do not share with donors prior to Advance Giving, or they will be able to complete a designation. This page will be disabled for donors at the same time your online donation portal closes December 4th at 12AM.
