Each time you set up a Giving Day on GiveGab, our templated suite of Custom Pages is recreated so your site has all of the helpful content already available for your nonprofits. From there, you can make additional content tweaks, change what pages you want to display, or copy custom content changes from previous years that you had edited and want to carry over moving forward!
Step 1: Navigate to your Custom Pages
To start, navigate to the Dashboard for the Giving Day from which you want to copy over your custom page(s). From the 'Home' page of the Dashboard, click on the arrow next to 'Content & Design' in the left navigation panel. Then, select 'Custom Pages' from the newly expanded dropdown.
Step 2: Click 'Edit'
On the next page, you can view a complete listing of your custom pages from that event. Click the 'Edit' button next to the page you want to copy over.
Step 3: Switch to 'Code View'
In the editor, click the '...' button to view more options.
Click the '</>' button to view the source code for that custom page.
Step 4: Copy the source code
Use the cursor or keyboard shortcuts to highlight the text and copy it to your clipboard.
Tip: Paste the source code into an external document, such as Google Docs or Microsoft Word for easy access!
Step 5: Navigate to your current Giving Day Dashboard
Navigate to your 'Custom Pages' from your current or upcoming Giving Day Dashboard. Then, click the 'Create New Page' button.
Step 6: Copy over your custom page
Paste the source code you copied into the editor from the 'Code View'. You can click the '</>' button again to preview how your page will appear on the public-facing site and make edits if necessary.
Once you are finished, click the 'Save' button near the bottom of the page.
