An ACH (Automated Clearing House) payment is a type of electronic bank-to-bank payment method used commonly across the United States. Also referred to as an ACH transfer or transaction, these types of payments move funds directly from your bank account into another, avoiding the involvement of a third-party credit card company such as Visa or Mastercard.
Here's how you can pay securely by ACH transfer on GiveGab.
Step 1: Enter your donation amount.
On the first page of the donation form, you will want to choose the amount that you would like to give and customize your display and anonymity settings for your donation. Once you have filled out the information on this first page, click "Next" when you are ready to move on.
Note: Giving days have varying fees and minimums for their ACH transfer payment method. Always ensure you have read your giving day's FAQ before you attempt to make an ACH transfer gift.
Step 2: Select "Bank Account" as your payment method.
On the second page of the donation form, select the Bank Account payment option. Complete the form by providing your full name and billing information. When all required information has been entered on this form, click "Next".
Step 3: Review your information and confirm your gift.
The third page of the donation form provides you with an opportunity to review the details of your donation. Once you have read through this information and have confirmed that your information is correct, click "Submit".
Step 4: Connect to your bank account and complete your transaction.
After submitting your donation you will be prompted to select or search for your bank or financial institution.
Once you have located your bank you will be prompted to verify this transaction using the username and password associated with your online banking account. Complete the transaction when prompted.
