After your organization has received donations on GiveGab through the Giving Challenge you'll be able to download a comprehensive report of all your donation and donor information by following these steps here.

Once you've received your Donation Report via email from notifications@givegab.com, you'll see something like this when you open the file in Excel, Google Sheets, or another compatible spreadsheet application:

Your Donation Report download has over 26 columns that explain the details of each donation you received through GiveGab. To better digest the information in your report, we'll break it down into two sections: 1. your donation information and 2. your donor information.

Donation Information

  1. ID: This number represents the ID of each donation made on GiveGab. If one of your donors requests a refund or you need to edit the details of a donation, having this number handy will help our Customer Success team find that specific donation quickly.

  2. Donation Date: The day, month, and year the donation was made on GiveGab.

  3. Time: The time of day that your donation was made on GiveGab in EST. (If you received donations after Oct. 1, 2016, this time will actually be reflected in UTC. For more information about this, click here.)

  4. Status: Shows whether not this donation has been deposited into your organizations bank account. This section will only say "Pending", or N/A (Offline) if it is in regards to an offline donation. This is because no donations will be sent to a bank account for the 2022 Giving Challenge so we do not have the actual tracking information.

  5. Intended Donation: This reflects the amount that your donor originally intended to give before fees regardless of whether or not they decided to cover them on your behalf.

  6. Amount Charged: This reflects the amount that your donor was charged for their donation after fees. If the amount is the same as the intended donation then the donor did not opt to cover the fees. If the amount is more than the intended donation then the fees were covered by the donor.

  7. Bank Fees: Credit card processing fees associated with this donation.

  8. Processing Fees: Cost to use the GiveGab platform (varies on your plan).

  9. Donor Covered Fees: Reflects whether the donor chose to cover the fees on behalf of your donation.

  10. Payout Amount: The total amount after fees deducted.

  11. Payout Date: This field is not relevant for 2022 Giving Challenge since you'll receive one check from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. Note this date will always show as "pending" or blank.

  12. Payout ID: This field is not relevant for 2022 Giving Challenge since you'll receive one check from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. Note this date will always show as "pending" or blank.

  13. Donation Level: The description of the donation level that was selected for this donation, if any.

  14. Donation Type: The type of donation that was made: Online, Offline, Offline - Donor Advised Funds, Offline - Matches & Challenges, Offline - Giving Day Challenges.

  15. DAF Fund Name: If applicable, the name of the Donor Advised Fund would appear here.

  16. DAF Fund Number: If applicable, the number of the Donor Advised Fund would appear here if the donor entered it.

  17. Referral Source: This is the source that the donor came from to make their donation.

  18. Referral Medium: This is what medium the donor is using as they were referred to the donation page, for example, via email.

  19. Referral Campaign: The campaign in which the donor was referred.

Donor Information

  1. First Name: The donor's first name

  2. Last Name: The donor's last name

  3. Email: The donor's email address

  4. Address: The donor's mailing address. This column will NOT be completed if the donor has opted for their donation to be anonymous to the nonprofit organization.

  5. Anonymous: Reflects whether or not the donor chose to have their donation displayed publicly or not. If a donor has opted for their donation to be anonymous to the nonprofit organization, they will be listed as Anonymous Donor, anonymousdonor@givegab.com.

  6. Recurring: The 2022 Giving Challenge does not support the recurring gift option for donors. This field will be blank.

  7. Campaign: Reflects whether or not the donation was made through a specific fundraising campaign on GiveGab or as a general donation to your organization.

  8. Fundraiser: Reflects whether or not the donation was made in support of a specific P2P fundraiser during a campaign.

  9. Team: Reflects whether or not the donation was made in support of a specific P2P fundraising team during a campaign.

  10. Comment: Shows the comment that the donor made with their gift if applicable.

  11. P2P Campaign Name: This shows if a P2P fundraiser makes their page on behalf of a Campaign Name vs an individual person.

  12. IHO/IMO: This shows if a donation was made in honor of or in memory of someone else. This will include the Honoree Name, Honoree Email and Honoree Message.
