How do I use the Sandbox Feature?

Note: This article is written for Giving Day hosts. If you are a participant or supporter of a Giving Day, this article may not apply to you.

Step 1: Navigate to the Landing Page Builder

From your Giving Day Dashboard, click 'Content & Design' on the left navigation panel and then select 'Landing Page Builder' from the newly expanded dropdown.

Step 2: Choose Sandbox as the Phase to manage

Under 'Landing Page Sections', select the 'Sandbox' Phase.

This feature allows you to preview your Landing Page before setting it live.

Step 3: Add a Section

Click the 'Add Section' button to choose a new section to add to the Landing Page for the respective phase. You will be prompted with a dropdown where you can select a Section Type. Once you have made your selection, click the 'Add' button.

Step 4: Customize each section

Use the 'Actions' button to re-order the sections on the Landing Page, or to edit that section. Not all sections allow for edits.

Note: Be sure to save your changes in this step if presented with a 'Save' button before moving on to the next step!

Step 5: Preview the Landing Page

To preview the changes made to the Landing Page without making them live on the Giving Day site, click the 'Preview Page' button before you click the 'Save' button.

Step 6: Add the Section to your Landing Page

Once you have reviewed your page and are ready to add the sections to your Landing Page, use the 'Action' button to select the 'Add to Landing Page' option.

You will then be prompted to choose which Landing Page phase you want to add it to. Once you select 'Move Section', the section will be added to the bottom of the selected Landing Page. You may move it to a different position afterwards.
