Step 1: Go to www.givegab.com/campaigns/diwalk21
From there, click the "Register" button to begin the registration process.
Step 2: Fill out the registration survey
In this step, you'll be asked to select a registration type, then enter your basic information, and answer a few optional questions at the end. When you're done filling out the survey, click "Save" to proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Add additional registrants (Optional)
Once you've saved your initial registration information, you have the option to add another registrant. Select "+ Add Another Registrant" if you'd like to register more than one person in a single transaction!
Step 4: Choose or create a fundraising team (Optional)
Once you've completed your registration information, you'll be prompted to choose or create a fundraising team. Simply choose from the dropdown menu of existing teams, or select "Create a New Team" to enter in your team's name! If you're going solo, you can skip this step.
Once you've selected your fundraising team, click "Next."
Step 5: Enter payment information
Next, you'll be prompted to fill in your payment information. Once complete, click "Next" to confirm your registration.
Step 6: Confirm your information
Once you've confirmed that your registration selections look correct, click "Register."
Step 7: Check your registration receipt for important next steps
Once you've registered, check the registration receipt that was emailed to you for important information on how to confirm your account and access your P2P Fundraising page! In case you are having trouble finding it, the registration receipt will come from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 8: Follow the instructions in your registration receipt
To finalize your account and set up your P2P Fundraising page, click the link in your receipt to sign up for GiveGab.
Step 10: Sign up for GiveGab
After clicking the link in your receipt, you will be prompted to confirm your name and email address and create a password. Setting up this information is important so you can log in and make changes to your P2P Fundraising Page!
Note: Be sure to enter the email address referenced in your registration receipt in the email field.
Once you've entered the requested information, click "Finish."
Step 11: Access your personal dashboard
Once you finalize signing up for GiveGab, you may be redirected back to the registration form. You'll see a note that says you are already registered for this event. To access your personal dashboard, select the "GiveGab" header at the top of the page.
Step 12: Your personal dashboard
Once on your personal dashboard, you'll see your active personal fundraising page for the 17th Annual Destination Independence Walk. From here, you can choose to either view your public-facing P2P Fundraising page or make any desired customizations through your P2P dashboard.
Selecting the orange "View" button will take you to your public-facing P2P Fundraising page. This is the link you'll want to share out with others!
Selecting the blue "Dashboard" button will take you to your P2P Fundraising dashboard when you can customize your page, make a donation, view and thank donors, and track your progress!
