Note: This article is written for Giving Day hosts. If you are a participant or supporter of a Giving Day, this article may not pertain to your efforts.
Step 1: Navigate to your Partner Dashboard.
You can easily access your Partner Dashboard through your Personal Dashboard. Once logged into GiveGab, select the Partner Dashboard you want to manage.
Step 2: Click on the "Prizes" page.
The "Prizes" page is located under the "Engagement Tools" dropdown in the sidebar.
Step 3: Add a new prize.
Click the blue "Add New Prize" button to create your prize.
Step 4: Customize the new prize.
You'll be prompted to enter in the following details:
a. Title: Use this field to create a unique and descriptive name for your prize.
b. Type: Use this field to designate whether you'd like to award a dollar amount for your prize or a good/service for your prize.
c. Prize: Use this field to highlight the prize itself. If you're entering a cash prize, be sure to include a dollar sign in this field.
d. Winner Selection Strategy: Use this field to choose how the prize should be awarded. If your prize criteria is based off of most amount raised or most unique donors, select "Most Raised" or "Most Donors." If you'd like to award your prize completely randomly, select "Random." If your prize criteria does not fall into any of these categories, select "Manual."
e. Description: Use this field to highlight any other information about your prize.
f. Sponsor Information: If this prize is being sponsored by an individual or a company, you can use this field to highlight their name and a link to their website if applicable. Both of these fields are optional.
g. Image: Use the "Select Image" button to upload a photo that will be featured with your prize description. This is optional.
Step 5: Save your prize.
Once you've entered your prize details, click the blue "Save" button! You can come back at any time and edit your prize if you want to make changes to it later.
Step 6: Arrange your prizes.
Once you've added all of your prizes in, you can easily reorder the way in which they display on your Prize page. You can come back and rearrange your prize listing at any time. To rearrange the placement of a prize, just click the up or down arrow to the far left of the prize listing.
Step 7: Preview your prizes.
To preview your prizes, head to your Giving Day's external Prize page.
You can reach your Prize page by adding "/prizes" to the end of your Giving Day URL. For example: www.GivingDayName.org/prizes.
