How to Add Engagement Opportunities for your Giving Day Profile

Follow these step by step instructions to create Engagement Opportunities on your Giving Day profile.

Step 1: Navigate to your Admin Dashboard

If your home page is not your admin dashboard, click on the drop-down box at the bottom of the screen next to “Viewing Dashboard For” to view a list of organizations that you are an administrator for. Click on the name of your organization you’d like to access.

Step 2: Navigate to your Giving Day Dashboard

From the “Home” tab of your Admin Dashboard on www.givegab.com, click on the name of your Giving Day from the Giving Day banner highlighted below. 

Step 3: Locate Engagement Opportunities 

From your Giving Day Dashboard, scroll down until you see "Other Actions", and then click "Engagement Opportunities" along the right-hand side:

Step 4: Create an Engagement Opportunity

Click on the blue "Add Engagement Opportunities" button to add the title of your event/volunteer opportunity.

Title your Engagement Opportunity and click "save"

 Step 5: Build out your Engagement Opportunity

A. Describe the event/volunteer opportunity in detail

B. Tell your supporters where the opportunity is happening

C. Tell your supporters what date and time the opportunity is happening (Optional)

D. Who should your supporters contact if they have any questions?

Click "Save" at the bottom of the page once you've filled everything out!

Step 6: Review Your Engagement Opportunity

Once you've finished entering all of the details about your engagement opportunity, you're able to view how it appears to your supporters by clicking "Engagement Opportunities" at the top of the "Edit" page.

To preview an engagement opportunity, click the "View" button. To continue customizing an opportunity, click the "Edit" button. To remove an opportunity permanently, click the "Delete" button.

You will then see how your engagement opportunity looks to the public!
