Step 1: Navigate to iGiveCatholic.org
Once there, click on the "Give Back" button in the middle of the page to be brought to a list of all of the organizations participating in #iGiveCatholic.
Step 2: Search for a Participating Organization
On the #iGiveCatholic site, you'll find multiple ways to search for a participating parish, school, or nonprofit ministry to support. Search by the arch/diocese/foundation that the organization you are looking to support is participating through. You can use any of the following criteria:
Participating Arch/Diocese/Foundation (via a dropdown menu)
Keyword/Organization name
Cause
Location (we recommend using City, State!)
The search results will update as you select/enter your search criteria underneath the search filters:
Step 3: Donate to One Organization, or Fill Up Your Gift Basket
From the organization's profile, click on the "Donate" button, or select the Basket icon next to the organization's logo to add a gift to this organization to your Gift Basket. If you still have more gifts to add, continue to browse the site by going back to the search page. When you're ready to checkout, click the gift basket icon in the top right corner of the site, and click "Checkout".
Note: if you would like to donate to organizations from multiple arch/dioceses/foundations, you must create a separate gift basket within the corresponding partner's site. For example: if you would like to donate to an organization registered under the National Ministries and Universities site and donate to an organization registered under the Catholic Education site, you cannot have both of those organizations in one gift basket. They will need to be processed as separate donations.
Step 4: Customize Your Donation(s)
When you're ready to complete your donation, you'll have the ability to customize your gift to that organization. You can change the amount you'd like to give, customize your display and anonymity settings for your donation, let the organization know if you are a new donor, and even include a personal message! You can even add/remove another gift from your cart without having to browse through the site again. Please note: there is a limit of 10 gifts in your gift basket per transaction!

Once you've completed these fields, navigate to the second step of the donation process by selecting the "Next" button.
Step 5: Provide Payment Information
In the second step of your donation, you'll enter your credit card information, mailing address, phone number (optional). All major credit cards are accepted.
For gifts of $100 or more, there will be an option to pay directly through your bank via their online platform. To change your method of payment to direct transfer from your bank, please select the dropdown at the very top and change your desired payment method. To finalize your gift, continue on to the third step.
Note: If you're not located in the U.S., you will be able to select another country from the "Country" dropdown box, and you'll be able to continue the donation process from there.
Step 6: Confirming Your Gift
In the final step of your #iGiveCatholic donation, you'll be asked to review and confirm your donation preferences. You will also have the option of covering the online fundraising costs for the organization you donated to. All donations will be paid to your chosen ministry or ministries net the fundraising costs (vendor and credit card transaction costs), which total 5.8% plus $0.30. You can see more about the costs of online fundraising HERE. Lastly, you have the option to be contacted about leaving a gift in your will.
Once you have reviewed the information, click the "Submit" button to complete your donation!
Note: If you have made multiple donations during the same check-out process, you will see each transaction on your bank statement, and will be emailed a separate receipt for each gift.
