A Free Agent Fundraiser (FAF) is someone who, rather than fundraising for a particular organization, fundraises for the Giving Day as a whole. When individuals choose to make a donation to a Free Agent Fundraiser's page, they will be brought to an empty donation menu where they can choose to give to any participating organization.

Note: Not all Giving Days will have Free Agent Fundraising enabled. If the Giving Day you are participating in does not have Free Agent Fundraising, you may still be able to become a Peer-to-Peer fundraiser.

Step 1: Visit Your Giving Day website to get started

On your Giving Day's website, click on the "Menu" dropdown on the right hand side of the screen, and then select "Fundraisers."

Step 2: Sign Up

You will be brought to the Free Agent Fundraisers page where you can sign up using your email and password. Click the "Sign Up" button to begin.

Step 3: Enter Your Information

Fill out your first and last name, email, and password, and then select "Submit."

Step 4: Edit Your Fundraising Page

You will be directed to your Free Agent Fundraising page where you can click โ€œManage Fundraiser" to add personalizations such as a goal, a story, or a photo. This screen can serve as your confirmation of successfully signing up.

You will additionally receive a confirmation email after signing up to become a Free Agent Fundraiser. You will be able to log in to your toolkit through the link provided as well.
